Why Cedar Hill?
Come and See!
Real Stories. Real Impact.
Every church has a story, but some of the most powerful stories are the ones told by the people whose lives have been touched by it.
We invite you to click on the videos below and hear unique testimonies from members of Cedar Hill Baptist Church. These stories reflect how God has used this church to encourage hearts, strengthen families, restore hope, and make a lasting impact in everyday life.
Each video offers a personal glimpse into what makes Cedar Hill special — not because of a building, but because of what God is doing through His people.
Why Cedar Hill? Come and see.
Watch the stories below and discover how this church has made a difference in the lives of others.
Bobby and Teresa Gross
Michael, Rachel Madron;
Cooper and Carson
Bobby and Teresa Gross have been faithful members at Cedar Hill for many years. Matter of fact, Bobby has been a member here his entire life. They both are faithful in the ministries at Cedar Hill. One they enjoy doing together is helping in our food pantry that serves 50 plus families each month.
Judy Lane;
Reighlen and Rylen
The Lane's have been attending Cedar Hill close to ten years. Everytime the doors are open, the Lane's are here. Both children are active in Cedar Hill's student ministry led by Alex Rosas. On many occasions, you will see Judy serving as a greeter on Sunday mornings.
The Madron's joined the Cedar Hill family in 2022. They are very active in the ministries of the church that include their two sons Cooper and Carson. Michael manages all of Cedar Hill's IT on a Sunday morning. What you see on Sunday mornings on our live stream is because of the hard work Michael puts in each week to bring the gospel into your home.
Josh and Elizabeth Lawson; Mason, Maci, and Connor
Josh and Elizabeth Lawson are passionate about seeing their kids grow spiritually through discipleship. This includes Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. If you see Elizabeth here, there is a good chance that she has a van load of kids that love coming to church that she picks up.
Jimmy and Patsy Davis
Pam Lay
Jimmy and Patsy Davis have been a mainstay at Cedar Hill over the years. Jimmy has taught Sunday School for many generations. Jimmy and Patsy love Cedar Hill and are always willing to serve in any capacity they are needed.
The first person you will see each Sunday morning is Pam Lay. She is our official "greeter" that always greets with a hug and a smile. If you are needing anything as you arrive at church, Pam can direct you or take you to the place you need to go. Pam is heavily involved in our Operation Christmas Child shoebox packing and serves in many capacities that encircle around missions.
